  • Active participation refers to the involvement of people in their society, by taking initiatives based on their needs. Active participation represents one of our rights and as long as we have the chance of changing, we should definitely take it. There are so many ways that give us the freedom of participating in our everyday life and active participation is the main one. 

    This course consists of 5 modules. We invite you to introduce yourself, go through the course materials at your own pace and take the assessments at your convenience. After completing all the steps, you can download your course completion certificate.

  • Module 2. Make your youth remarkable

    Upon completing of the module, you will be able to:

    • Define youth participation;
    • Identify different types of participation in the online and offline environment
    • Be aware of your position in helping youth problems in society

  • Forum activity. Challenges and obstacles

    Objectives:

    • Identify the challenges and obstacles for youth participation
    • Structure the content and ideas

    • Start discussions: 1 Post replies: 2

      Task 1: Start a discussion to share your understanding about challenges and obstacles.

      Task 2: Reply twice to at least two of your colleagues' posts to suggest them solutions for stopping these challenges..


  • Assessment 2

    • Receive a grade Receive a passing grade

      • Gain your second Badge "Explorer"
      If your score for the quiz is above 50% you will be awarded with your second badge.

  • Module 3. The freedom of voting

    Upon completing of the module, you will be able to:

    • Understand the characteristics of democracy;
    • Comprehend the voting system;
    • Use the digital voting system in real life.

  • Assessment 3

    • Receive a grade Receive a passing grade
      • Gain your third Badge "Researcher"
      If your score for the quiz is above 50% you will be awarded with your third badge.

  • Module 4. Advocacy – Networking for advocacy strategy

    Upon completing of the module, you will be able to:

    • Understand the concept of networking;
    • Comprehend the characteristics of advocacy;
    • Complete an advocacy plan.

  • Module 5. Online support with real impact

    Upon completing of the module, you will be able to:

    • Be aware of communities’ problems;
    • Find ways to enroll communities;
    • Make a real impact in society due to online methods.

    Objectives:

    • Understand ways to enroll online communities
    • Give feedback

  • Assessment 5

    • Receive a grade Receive a passing grade
      • Gain your fifth Badge "Maestro"
      If your score for the quiz is above 50% you will be awarded with your fifth badge, which is the last badge available for this course.
